What is Concept to Launch?

We believe that the creation of thriving small businesses is vital to the growth and health of our communities. National studies show that businesses fail for these three reasons: lack of business acumen, founder isolation, and financial instability. The Concept to Launch (CTL) program addresses the lack of business acumen and founder isolation and teaches valuable principles on financial planning for start-ups.

We have three core objectives during the program:

How the Program Works

The program is a combination of online content and videos, facilitator and peer feedback, and live digital sessions. It takes place over 12 weeks with 9 learning modules and costs INR 3,500. The learning modules are:

  3. Solutions & Value

  4. Channels & Marketing

  5. Financial Capital

  6. People & Systems

  7. Funding & Moving Forward

  8. Go-To-Market & Operations

  9. The Redemptive Framework

Online Content

You will consume and engage content online about your business and for your leadership preparation, which we have brought to you in association with our partner organization, OCEAN.

Virtual Workshops

At the end of each module, you will participate in an online, scheduled workshop that will be conducted by resource persons from JoyCorps' network of entrepreneurs and experts to focus on the major milestone of each module's content.

Business Model Canvas

You will complete and consistently update the Business Model Canvas that will be the basis of your business plan, which we have brought to you in association with our partner organization, OCEAN.

Peer Reviews

You will be blessed and be a blessing to your peers in the course as you regularly give and receive input to your work along the way.

80% graduates able to articulate their business model at CTL graduation

A relational commitment to Joy Corps or potential mentor network.

Expectations from attendees

To get the full benefit of the program, we expect all participants to be fully engaged and present for all sessions. Therefore we mandate a minimum attendance of 90% to ensure meaningful participation and program completion. If you cannot meet those requirements you will be dropped out of the program.
